That's why our products are made from recycled PET bottles and other sustainable materials. Plastic waste is given a second life with us and transformed into sustainable products that last, feel great, and look fantastic. Together, we turn waste into something valuable.

What makes Vaya Vida unique is the combination of sustainability and cohesion. All our products are available in a variety of unique designs, designed to be mixed and matched. This way, you're not only choosing less plastic, but also a style that suits you. A design you recognize yourself in, and that you'll find everywhere, from a day at the beach to a city break.
Collection & sorting
Used PET bottles are collected and separated from other plastics, often also sorted by colour.

Cleaning & shredding
Caps and labels are removed. The bottles are washed and shredded into plastic flakes (chips).

Melting & making yarn
The flakes are melted and purified, converted into granulate and then spun into long, thin yarns.

Process
into dust
The yarns are woven or knitted into textiles, ready for dyeing and further finishing.
